The light this morning caused a bit of a glare on my window! The plants in the pot really do not show up as much as they should - but any week now (LOL) you will be seeing some very pretty flowers ....I hope! Have a great week and enjoy those views!!

Window Views - 6-10

More heavy rains this week, which has again left lots of puddles! Now if only we could have a week of nice warm days and nights maybe things would speed up a bit. We transplanted an Annabelle Hydrangea near the fence, it was not happy in it's previous location and is rather sickly looking at the moment. I will give it a little TLC and maybe it will produce some of those magnificent white flowers it is famous for!

6 weeks and still not much change. The flowers in the planter have already been knocked down once by frost and we have frost warnings again tonight!! What month is this???????????

Window Views - Yard 5/27

Raindrops on the window this week - maybe all the rain will make my petunias in the white pot grow big enough to be seen next week!

Window Views - Looking Out - Looking In

I don't know about you, but I am ready to see a little color here! Not much new this week - I did get the flower pot and the bird feeder structure (except for the very top) painted.

Now, if you were to walk up to the window on the left and peek in, this is what you would see through the screen today. My orchid cactus in full of blooms and the huge fuschia colored flowers seem to be opening before my eyes.

Window Views - Yard 5/13

Shot was taken a little lower this week, so we can see the fountain/birdbath. We now have our Hummingbird feeders up - the Hummingbirds returned last weekend. (We saw an Oriole at the feeder today!) Hubby moved the chairs and the swans feeder. He also added dirt to fill in some tracks in the yard. The flower pot holds a Canna that got nipped by the frost.

Not many changes during this past week. The phlox in the bottom right corner are growing - the yard has dried up quite a bit, the grass near the pond is brown from being under water - and a couple of chairs have appeared in the yard.

This is a picture of the window in our breakfast room and it is the window I will be posting views from for the next few weeks.

I thought it would be kind of cool to take a shot of the same view for several weeks - to see how the view will change during Summer.

So here is my view as it today - still too early for flowers.
